Junior Web Developer (WordPress)

Scope Of Work

As a Junior Web Developer (WordPress), you will support the development team in building, updating, and maintaining WordPress websites. You will collaborate closely with designers, marketers, and senior developers to deliver high-quality digital experiences for a wide range of clients.

Key Responsibilities

WordPress Development & Implementation

Build custom WordPress websites using Elementor and custom layouts (not template-based).
Develop and style web pages using HTML, CSS, and basic PHP.
Integrate and configure plugins such as Elementor Pro, RankMath SEO, and WooCommerce.
Ensure websites are responsive and compatible across multiple browsers and devices.

Website Maintenance & Optimization

Perform routine website maintenance, updates, backups, and bug fixes.
Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices.
Troubleshoot layout, performance, or functionality issues and implement effective solutions.

Collaboration & Workflow

Work closely with designers to accurately translate UI/UX designs into functional web pages.
Collaborate with marketers to support SEO and performance-related improvements.
Manage assigned tasks, timelines, and delivery milestones in coordination with the team.

Job Requirement

Experience

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in WordPress web development.
Proven ability to build WordPress websites using Elementor without relying on pre-built templates.
Experience managing plugins, updates, and basic website optimization tasks.

Technical Skills

Proficient in WordPress CMS and Elementor Pro.
Strong understanding of HTML and CSS, with basic knowledge of PHP.
Familiar with SEO fundamentals and on-page optimization tools such as RankMath.
Understanding of website performance optimization (e.g. caching, image compression).
Knowledge of responsive design principles and UX fundamentals.
